About the Founders

Different frequencies, one shared mission

FRQNCY was co-founded by Simona, a holistic hair healer, and Layla, an experienced salon entrepreneur. Their paths crossed years ago, but it wasn’t until 2024 that their aligned vision came to life one where high-performance hairdressing and soulful connection coexist.

Together, they’ve built a salon that’s as much about blending blonde tones as it is about blending energies. A place where balayage services come with mindfulness, and where team culture is as curated as the client experience.

At FRQNCY, leadership isn’t loud. It’s intentional, inclusive, and rooted in purpose.

Simona is an experienced and passionate stylist who has dedicated her career to empowering clients to embrace their natural beauty. She brings a wealth of expertise in hair care, combined with a genuine desire to create a personalized experience for each client. Her mission is to offer more than just a hair service, she provides a space where clients feel safe, supported, and cared for, both mentally and physically, while enhancing what already makes them beautiful.

As co-founder and creative force behind FRQNCY, Simona leads with intuition, integrity, and heart. She plays a key role in shaping the culture, energy, and experience of the salon, not only behind the chair but within the team. Her leadership style is grounded in empathy and presence, creating an environment where stylists and clients alike feel seen, heard, and valued.

She is known for helping clients reconnect with their texture through tailored cuts and treatments. Simona also offers balayage, natural blonding, and her signature full moon haircuts: a ritual that aligns hair renewal with energetic release.
